Stilio Primitivo di Manduria DOC 2016 Mottura

Made from 100% Primitivo grapes carefully selected from vineyards in the Manduria area of Puglia. The grapes are harvested by hand when fully ripe. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures with maceration on the skins to extract color and structure. After fermentation, the wine matures partly in stainless steel and partly in oak barrels to enhance complexity and roundness before bottling. Deep ruby red with violet reflections. The nose opens with intense aromas of ripe red fruits, black cherry, and plum jam, followed by hints of sweet spices, vanilla, and light toasted notes. On the palate it is full-bodied, warm, and velvety, with soft tannins and a rich, harmonious structure. The finish is long and persistent, marked by ripe fruit and subtle spice.
