Aged for about 12 months in French oak barriques (partly new, partly second and third use). It then rests in the bottle before release to achieve perfect balance Deep ruby red colour. The nose reveals cherry, blackberry, plum, hints of violet and subtle spices such as cocoa, tobacco, and pepper. On the palate, it is smooth, with silky tannins, good freshness, and a long, harmonious finish. Pairings: Excellent with roasted veal or pork, grilled meats, hearty pasta dishes, cured meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
