IlBio Umbria Rosso IGT Organic 2021 Lungarotti

A blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, all organically grown in the Torgiano estate vineyards, Umbria. Made from organically farmed grapes. Fermented in stainless steel with controlled temperatures to preserve fruit purity, followed by short ageing in stainless steel and bottle before release. Minimal intervention winemaking with no chemical additives other than minimal sulfites. Deep ruby red with violet hues. Fresh and expressive bouquet with notes of red cherries, plum, and wild berries, followed by hints of violet and light herbal nuances typical of Sangiovese. Medium-bodied and well-balanced with lively acidity, soft tannins, and vibrant red fruit flavours. The finish is smooth, fresh, and slightly spicy, with a pleasant persistence. Best with pasta with tomato-based sauces, roasted poultry, grilled vegetables, or light red meats. Its freshness and medium structure make it versatile and suitable for everyday meals.
