Deep ruby with garnet nuances. The nose is evolved, showing aromas of dried cherry, plum compote, leather, sweet tobacco, and hints of vanilla and spice from oak aging. On the palate, it is soft, warm, and velvety, with mellow tannins, good acidity, and a persistent, savoury finish. Pairings: Perfect with roast meats, game, aged cheeses, pasta with meat sauces, or grilled mushrooms. Excellent with braised pork or rabbit stew.
