Made entirely from Nebbiolo grapes, it expresses the elegance and complexity typical of the Barbaresco region in Piedmont. The wine has a deep ruby red colour with garnet reflections. On the nose, it is intense and complex, showing aromas of ripe plum, black cherry, subtle hints of coffee, tobacco, and spice. On the palate, it is rich and structured, with well-integrated tannins, a balanced acidity, and a long finish that reveals notes of strawberry, vanilla, and a touch of earthiness.
It is best served at 16–18 °C and benefits from decanting for about an hour to allow the aromas to open and the tannins to soften. This Barbaresco pairs exceptionally well with grilled red meats, game birds, hearty stews, and dishes featuring truffles or mushrooms. It also complements aged cheeses such as Parmigiano-Reggiano or Pecorino. Its balanced structure and acidity give it a good aging potential of 5 to 10 years.
