The Estate, that today goes by the name of Vignarosa from the pink colour of its buildings, dates back to at least the early 19th century, as the registers in the Napoleonic General Land Office of 1813 reveal. The Vignarosa wine company started producing wine in the 1970s. Respecting the tradition of the wine means also and above all respecting the nature of the vine and of the land. The method of cultivation used at Vignarosa consists of fertilization with natural methods and pruning that aims specifically at obtaining a low yield and thus higher quality. The Vignarosa estate is situated in the rolling hills of Colle Umberto in the province of Treviso, right in the heart of the picteresque Marca Trevigiana area, a few minutes away from Conegliano and Valdobbiadene two world-famous parts of Veneto and Italy.
