The Vecchia Cantina di Montepulciano is the oldest grape growing and wine producing cooperative in Tuscany. The cantina has a wealth of experience in the sector and continues to evolve and grow. It was founded in 1937 on the initiative of fourteen producers working in the centuries-old and infamous Montepulciano wine-producing area. One of the main driving forces behind Tuscany’s development as a wine-producing region in the 1960s and 1970s, the company continues this tradition today and is a valued promoter of Montepulciano’s wine, culture and heritage.
