History and tradition fills each bottle made by Distilleria Bertagnolli. Its origins date back to 1870 when the landowner of one of the largest wineries in the Piana Rotaliana, Giulia de Kreutzenberg, married Edoardo Bertagnolli, a pharmacist, and they began producing exceptional grappa. So much so that by 1886 the distillery became the Official Supplier to the Habsburg royal family. The Distillery is located in the Piana Rotaliana in Trentino, a landscape described by Dante as the “most beautiful vineyard in Europe”, where there is an ideal climate for growing delicate and aromatic grapes. Since its foundation, the distillery has almost exclusively used grapes from this area, crafting exquisite grappa that continues to be renowned the world over.
