Founded in 1973, Citra Vini gathers 9 winegrowing cooperative associations of proven experience in the historic cradle of Montepulciano and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo. The winery’s name is a Latin adverb and the name of one of the two principalities that came to form the Abruzzo region after Italy’s unification. It alludes to the strong ties to the land that Citra’s winegrowers value and maintain to this day, and to the ancient wisdom and traditions of wine production that date back to time immemorial.
