Wines of Italy Ltd. was established in 2009 with a simple aim: to bring the incredible quality and diversity of Italian wine to Ireland. With over 50 years experience working in the wine industry, I have come to know Italian wine like the back of my hand. From winemaker to restaurateur, I have worked in all aspects of the wine industry, experiences that allow me to better appreciate our customers’ needs and to select only the best of what Italy has to offer.
Hundreds of distinct grape varieties, an extraordinary array of microclimates and terroirs and a millennia-old winemaking history make Italy unique in the world of wine. Because each region in Italy has something to offer, our company strives to reflect that richness in its growing portfolio, which now includes 24 wineries from all across Italy. We now also import a selection of high-quality grappas, liqueurs and craft beers to complement our extensive selection of wines.
Since its establishment, Wines of Italy Ltd. has become one of Ireland’s leading importers of fine Italian wines, with some of Italy’s most renowned and historic wineries, distilleries and breweries in our portfolio. This is coupled with a strong commitment to outstanding customer service. The company is the sole importer of all products on this website and supplies only the on-trade sector.
